iPhone 14 Pro Live Video Surfaces update relases today

Features an option to toggle the integrated pickup notch Apple may use this feature to display privacy indicators.

The iPhone 14 series includes iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max.  The Cupertino company has yet to reveal the design of this next series.  However, an iPhone 14 Pro live video has allegedly appeared to show a new option that allows iPhone 14 Pro users to switch between a split pill cutout and a unified pill cutout.  It has recently been suggested that Apple disables the display pixels between the two cutouts to make them appear as a single notch.

An alleged iPhone 14 Pro video has been doing the rounds on Chinese social media platform Weibo and shows it using an alleged pill-shaped notch.  The alleged video shows that the iPhone 14 Pro will come with an option that allows users to switch between a unified pill notch or a split pill-shaped punch-hole cutout.

A recent report suggested that Apple might opt   out of the pixels between the two cutouts on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.  The feature is believed to be possible due to the OLED screens used in the Pro models.

Apple plans to use a unique eyebrow-shaped pill cutout on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max to display privacy indicators.  These indicators are intended to inform users when the camera and microphone are in use.  Apple is believed to have redesigned the camera app by moving some controls to either side of a unified pill shape.

Apple will hold its "Far Out" launch event on September 7.  We can expect the iPhone 14 series to be revealed at this event.  The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are believed to feature Apple's new A16 Bionic chip, while the standard iPhone 14 variants use the older A15 Bionic chip.
