WhatsApp could soon send in-app surveys to a limited number of users

WhatsApp is reportedly working on a new in-app poll chat feature that the Meta-owned platform plans to use to get feedback on new features, products and more.  WhatsApp sends a secure chat request to users while asking for feedback.  According to the report, users will have the option to decline such requests from WhatsApp.  Additionally, another new feature is being tested that allows users to message each other from linked devices.

According to a report by WhatsApp feature tracker WABetaInfo, WhatsApp may be working on a secure in-app inquiry chat.  Users can decline survey chat invitations and prevent WhatsApp from sending surveys in the future.  WhatsApp keeps user comments on this survey confidential.

The report states that WhatsApp uses survey chat only for feedback purposes.  No information is available on when this feature will be available to users.  However, it should be released for a very limited number of users initially.

In related news, WhatsApp works to let users message each other between linked devices.  This feature should be available in future updates.  This is believed to be an update to the multi-device support that was released earlier this year.

Currently, WhatsApp displays chat with user number only on primary device. 

No support when using multiple devices.  According to the feature tracker, users searching for contacts on the desktop WhatsApp beta will be able to see their names at the top of the list.  Also, this chat may appear when you try to login from a new smartphone.  This feature will also be available on WhatsApp for Android and iOS soon.  It is said to be under development and may be available at a later date.
